Just been reading from this book I got from Charville library .. full of inspirational teenagers .. blown away by this story of Maya a Syrian refugee that came to UK to be settled in Birmingham and has become first Syrian female pilot. Actually studied aviation engineering at Brunel University.. Such a powerful young woman been in our midst here locally. Extra fascinating for me given my years of befriending a Syrian refugee family Family Link Up
