I am no longer on twitter but I did have an #showusthespreadsheet which on discussion with others we feel we do need to see where are our money goes both in central and local governments.
The week before Christmas I travelled to Parliament wearing my Suffragette sash with WASPI badge and got salutes from bus drivers and commuters... I had however to ironically hand over my sash to the Parliamentary security as per protocol of no demonstration material to be in parliament! My sash was carefully folded in a draw and a receipt given to collect on the way out... I had gone to lobby my MP on issues. My suffragette sash is of colours that the suffragettes used in the campaign for votes for women. Votes for Women and for Women to be permitted to stand as MPs ....so very sad that we have women in Chancellor and others in ministerial roles that have decided against the compensation for women born in the 1950s... I was born in 1954 a much wanted and loved baby girl that is now 70 years old and soon to be 71 years - I never in all my life imagined that I and other women in their older years would be targeted to deprive us of 6 years state pension and not be given at least the compensation decreed by the Ombudsman!
