Therapy through food

The Suffolk Refugee support have shared an amazing article link from the BBC telling the story of Majeda Khoury, Syrian refugee who uses the time preparing and sharing food to be able to tell her story... The Syrian refugee who feeds everyone she meets
She was alone, separated from her children, without her home or work. But facing circumstances that could break even the strongest spirits, Majeda refused to give in. She turned to something she hoped would build her a new life - food.
Good article by Georgina Rannard. I like this idea as sharing food and eating together can be very therapeutic time. It is a time of companionship... a word literally formed out of breaking bread together, taken from French for bread - le pain  The recipe I have shared below making me feel chufted with myself as I am reading the Arabic script. The Meemie Jeemies are no longer a mystery.
