Love the way you arrive in the heart of the town. Some really nice stalls in the station and elegant shops. In fact the whole place is a really nice market town to shop. If only I had had the funds could have got some really nice things for my Family Link Up and some lovely outfits for me too...
These waterproof tabards are brilliant for the kids in the camps when they are doing artwork. The stall holder was saying the stock is running out and the company that supplies them have gone in liquidation. That was really sad to hear as you would have thought they would have regular orders from nurseries. But if I do have some funds soon with the Family Link Up appeal I could get a good deal on the remaining stock. It is really worrying talking to small business owners no matter whether here in the UK or out in Turkey or Greece seems the same story. There is really no zip zap business turnover. All have great saleable products but seems like customers either have no funds or holding back on spending. The world seems in political turmoil that is inhibiting rather than stimulating trade.
Loved the Moroccan bizarre stall and there is another story too as the pottery sold I could get from Safi potteries where they are made. Always enjoy the colours and the patterns.
But interesting some similiar themes and patterns in Turkey too.
Lovely gift ideas with a vast range of jewelry.
Some lovely teddies and toys on this stall could have come away with a armful if had the funs... would make a lot of the refugee children very happy.
The stall holder was fascinated by my family link up project too.
These boinnnng}}}}} suspended toys would be a major winner for the kids too ..
They are lovely on the springy springs to hang and them play and watch the toys jump up and down on the springs...
There was a baby watching today with parents and was memorised by the movement of the toys....
Great for hanging over beds and cots or from bunk beds.
Liked the painted love hearts on the stall next to the toys... and could not resist getting one - They were only a £1 lovely idea to put in a gift box with other goodies for family and friends you love.
All the time was so wishing my refugee family could have been with me to see the wonderful town of Windsor. Even if not to live here but to be able to visit would be good. Was sat talking to a Chinese tourist couple over coffee and it is lovely when folk can come along and share with one another. Well impressed with their standard of English and pronunciation. Must be a good teacher in Shanghai...
My heart purchase home now :-)
