Parliament floor tiles for sale

My attention was drawn to these floor tiles in the Parliament Shop yesterday.  Over the last years of my campaigning and lobbying I have been watching how the worn floor tiles have been replaced in the Central Lobby.... they have done a good job of replicating the floor as it was with the new tiles.  But what a good idea to offer the worn tiles for sale as historical keepsakes.... Can you imagine who as walked over those tiles from politicians to members of the public with worries, concerns and campaigns. Citizens of the UK to visitors from around the world... Children from schools on visits and students studying politics. I was saying to the lovely shop assistant some good psychic like Russell Grant would surely get some amazing vibes from these.... Then she was telling me that Russell Grant had been in parliament a few weeks ago and what a lovely man he was... they had all enjoyed meeting him.
Laid between 1847 to 1852, these tiles were recently removed from the Palace of Westminster and kept for the Encaustic Tile Conservation Project. Presented in a gift box which gives detailed information about the project.
They come with a certificate of authenticity so a real collectors item.
