I have found this author Lucinda Riley through a Belgium reading club on Facebook. They rave about her stories and now reading her work I can see why....this is my 4th book read... Midnight Rose will take you to India and England in past & present. There are fascinating intricacies in the plot. Some of which I can identify with from my clinical background. There are many poweful scenes built round characters from actress to lord & lady of manor to royal palaces of India.... to say more would spoil your journey through this read.

Fascinating 3D art

 

At the Stockley Park Golf Club NHS vaccination centre there was a wonderful corridor walk way... this piece was magical with its 3D effect from material incorporated in the painting.  Very Frida Kahlo in style.. uplifting to see after the worry of covid & vaccination. A touch of freedom from lockdown and the ability to get out to explore interesting places and art galleries again.

February Come & Go Update

 Been Hello and now Goodbye ..February has been a blur of pain management of my sciatica, continuing lockdown and reading.... but in among this my Ist Vaccination against Covid with AstraZeneca type. This was in the glamourous surroundings of a wedding marquee at the local golf club in Stockley park. With chandeliers and spotlights.....but most of all kind caring staff..That was a week ago. A busy week for my family with my daughter & son-in-law also having their first jabs too.
