Garden Beauty to Support

Oh look my garden been paying me back in beauty ... while this morning was in lockdown waiting for GP to ring me....... thanks to my refugee for helping me today and giving me the nudge to keep going ... got up showered and went to surgery - Doctor will see me face to face on Monday and to bring all the hassle letters from DWP central government and local government..... we really do need to improve the pathway for women that have been abused and rebuilding their lives and also for us oldies over 60 with all this not permitted your state pension melarky....... but look at my flowers in the garden from all the healing myself - and working with the earth to heal and restore beauty in my life from the ugliness of the past hurts...... now I need to tidy this garden for the new season and pray that the London Borough of Hillingdon will put residents first as its motto with love care and compassion and NOT throw this old Lady out on the streets because this Tory government cannot get its acts together with love care and compassion.. No citizen should be knocked down for trying to rebuild their lives - they should be supported to achieve new life.....

Companion cats

Lulu Blanche and Pengu Noire are the sister cats that have been my companions through all the pain since Amine left me, after using me and abusing me..... these girlie cats seem to know when I am down and need some companionship and support... they never leave my side..... but when they see I am ok they are off on their hunting patch.... and it is the same in the refugee camps too - cats are companions to the refugees and seem to help heal all the pain...... I love sending videos of Lulu and Pengu to Leen in the camp...... and the kids in Turkey love to see these girlies too ...puts smiles on all their faces .. my famous global cats..... lol 

Problems and frustration

Getting hassle from the council and really there should be no issue what so ever... they and the DWP  seem to think I am earning when I am not... so utterly confusing the situation I have been left in with a scamming Moroccan husband that steam rolled through my life and fleeced me.... Women victims need a better deal then a system that keeps battering her and making her feel like she is the criminal not the perpetrator..... I am trying to get John McDonnell my MP to see me and help..... but everyone seems pre-occuppied now with Brexit Brexit Brexit...... ohhh so crazy...!! 

I am thinking - what if I put out a gofundme for me to raise a year rent to the London Borough of Hillingdon seeing the DWP is refusing to help this over 60 in a motherland where she has paid in tax all her life and all ancestors paid tax to every King Queen and Government..... would you help me ... raise £6000 to pay direct to London Borough of Hillingdon.......then was thinking gee we may all have to help one another like this as - the UK has gone mad and it will cost a fortune for all the severing the ties with the rest of global family in Europe....so social care will be cut instead of helping more........but seriously I am in danger of being turfed out of the sheltered bungalow .... never thought my country would come to this devoid of compassion for the elderly and vulnerable........All because I was born in 1954 will not get my state pension till 2020

One has ordered a copy of "The Lady" from the local newsagent to look for "live in companion" posts....

I have been trying to get paid posts too ... but one was shortlisted for but not offered and others nothing heard at all... 

I shall continue to raise funds for the refugee families and as you know that goes direct to their needs... with evidence of this too...... as between us all we need to rebuild our lives after trauma and abuse....and folk fleecing us.... about time we got Dr Death Assad dipping into his assets to pay all of us for the havoc he has caused just as my perpetrator Amine should be caught by his balls and pay for all the damage he has done to my life.......... perpetrators have to be held to account..........

Today stopped by one of elderly ladies Winnie with wheelie zimmer...was telling her about all my oh arh with council... now been invited to the OAP wednesday club she was saying we could do with some younger OAP members we had 60 but now down to 20 as they all keep dying off...... bless hhhhh but she was saying come as we have helped one another through all sorts of issues....... and with this Brexit folk are worried what will happen to the elderly.... and them like me that are being refused their state pension....!! so long term taxpayers unite and banners on our Zimmer frames...... look out Theresa we on the march for a good deal for us all.... and it has to include free chiropody as you will need soon dear PM with those kitten shoes you clatter about in.??!!

My voice appears not be heard in the London Assembly Dr Onkar Sahota PA feels they can do nothing to help women victims of DV ... I am not convinced that a good local GP that has become an assembly member can do nothing.... he is campaigning strong on the NHS and this social situation can impact grossly on the NHS provision in A/E and long term mental health support.... so does need to be addressed when the DWP is seen to be not fit for purpose at supporting those in need...!! we all need to shout out and get system strengthened... UK is YUCK folks with incompetence...!! Driving me crazy when I just need financial dignity to live my life doing what I enjoy doing and that is now helping refugees..... as we all traumatised souls that have lost everything and need to rebuild our lives.....

Parliament family

Today my first time in parliament since the attacks last week.  We still feel a family of staff, visitors and activists and the place had its usual safe feeling to it.... 
They had set out a series of three condolences books with flowers...in Westminster Hall

But goose-pimples when you look out into the courtyard and think of all that happened there last week.  

Managed to have a nice lunch in the Jubilee cafe.... and we all chatted as we normally do..... so reasonable in the cafe there and hope to come along next week with my daughter to see more of the tapestry exhibition and to have lunch together.  

Scottish Diaspora Tapestry

Scottish Diaspora Tapestry .....There is an amazing tapestry exhibition on in Parliament in the grand Westminster Hall we really were not supposed to take photos just in the early week of the incident last week...... but could not resist this Indian henna themed one .... It is a Global tapestry project where people from around the world have done needlework to denote their links to Scotland ..... it is breathtakingly beautiful ...... and enjoyed talking with the Scottish lasses looking after this exhibition.....

"Scots have migrated all over the world and have often had a profound impact on the areas where they settled. This project brought together stories from more than such communities, documenting their Scottish connections in more than 300 embroidered panels. It is a remarkable and heart-felt homage to the determination, courage and achievement of Scottish migrants and their descendants across the centuries."

Blended with Tourists today

Lady Marjorie in Queen Boudica mode off down to the House of Lords to help us women fight for our rights to rebuild our lives after domestic violence..... with help not battering from the ill thought out badly written present government system. so Lobby slips abound to the Baroness Shadow Whip and supporter of Women's rights..... have to do this for women aside me and behind me... and sadly we will have women behind me to endure the aftermath of getting out....!! And Shame on men that are not really men that beat women..... but women will NOT BE BEATEN in justice and care and need.... we will win...!!

Blended in with tourists today with walk now Whitehall to Parliament - good to see all calm and enjoyable again in London - the Horse Guards Horses are huge and their coats so shiny so well looked after.... lol when I used to drive in to Tommys would pass them on exercise in the morning.... stunning....

Well Lady Marjorie managed a good talk with Baroness Gale on issues facing the aftermath of women attempting to rebuild their lives after DV with abusive partners....and she has taken note of my case but I have to continue getting help from the Shadow Chancellor and my MP John McDonnell plus she strongly suggests getting into with the London Mayor assembly member for help on LBH issues with my sheltered bungalow...... so that is Dr Onkar Sahota... manage to telephone lobby John's PA and we have worked out a plan of action........Like Baroness Gale - Lady Marjorie has to challenge the system that fails to support women with the strong bridge of help to heal, detox and rebuild... it is not acceptable for a badly written out set of policies to fail women in need.... We simply have to improve the pathway for the women aside me and behind me...

We need transparency on the said budget allowance for women fleeing abusive partners.....

British Library Shop

Enjoyed looking at the card carousel in the British Library shop while waiting to meet my daughter.

Actually framing cards was a great way of getting coverage on my walls of artwork I enjoy.  I have not done this in my present home.  I feel unsettled not sure I will be here in this home for long with all the hassle I am getting from the local council and government.  I am over 60 in a sheltered bungalow but unable to get my state pension till 2020... with the new laws and there is another bill going through parliament to up retirement to 70yrs .... it does beg the question what is happening to all the money taken from you over the years.... 1969 was my first job..... and yes lost a lot of assets over the years with Thatchers recession and then some personal poor choices in husband lol I failed to go to the Zsa Zsa Gabor school of how to make money out of your divorce hhh :-(  Love her saying I was a good housekeeper with every divorce I kept the house.... unfortunately my husband number two was a better housekeeper than me.... he sits on a fortune now with his new Mrs ..... poor Lady Marjorie been a sucker and toooo lenient with some strong devious manipulative men.... eh ho this is the way life can go.... anyway here are some more nice cards I spotted in the carousel.... 

I love this but then I love mother and baby art and photos.. and I always feel happy with a baby in my arms and spending time with kids.... 

I hope I can get back to the refugee camp again and to the kids out in Turkey too........ 

But I need to solve the funding issue long term... all the writing around to the EU and UK parliament still not leading me to a pathway of funding... funding does exist but only for organisations...not individual carer/befrienders like myself. I need to see how to make my Family Link Up project into an organisation or charity or business - so if anyone reading this has an idea let me know you can use email marjoriebahhaj@gmail.com to contact me.... 

I have my business sign up to be an independent consultant for the Neals Yard Remedies products too... but I could not race around to do party presentations ... I could do some charity table top fairs but this needs stock to display....... I am trying to get a base of loyal registered online customers if you see my blog on Marjorie's Yard - but this at the moment is not yielding any orders for me.  So readers to this blog have a look and see if you could come on board as a loyal registered customer. With a good customer base ordering monthly I could earn with commission and build up like this and the revenue help my Family Link Up project too..... I hope I can solve this funding my life issue and my desire to help rebuild others lives too with the Family Link Up project.  I think this is why I am so linked up to the refugees - we are all traumatised souls in some way and have lost everything - but now is the time to rebuild and rebuild we will some how but we need help too.... I am even thinking if I has an over 60yr old can go on a return to practice course too... there has to be a way of wining... Though each day my body feels to be getting older yet inside I still feel young.... if only we had nine lives like cats .... but then they so have a good recipe for living - they sleep a lot :-) and they are not bound by £$££$... however their keepers are..... So there is my carousel of thoughts round my carousel look at the cards in the British Library shop...

Family Link Up respects

Today just felt a need to go to Parliament to pay my respects to Keith who has always been interested in all we have talked about together. Of course I have been many times to committee meetings and lobbying... some meetings challenging with upsetting material seen and discussed... but he would put you at ease and we would always end on a happy note of some fun comment..... Today been the same with the team on duty we have a good atmosphere in parliament where we just feel at ease with one another...... though alert on issues by the nature of the place......... 

So laid some flowers from our Family Link Up project as my Syrian refugees have featured much in the meetings over the last what will be nearly 2 years....... My local florist shop wrapped the blue hyacinths in red white and blue for the Union Jack and the bulbs will blossom over the next few days to emit a beautiful perfume..... the team let me place them by the gate..... 

We have all been goose-pimples to day and so close heart to heart.... Been good to say thanks to all too and the ambulance who were on duty for the rally that was on in the square...... one of the armed police officers was agreeing with me that a nice area of garden in the square would be good to dedicate to Keith and to Jo Cox too... both taken by brutal evil and so the garden could neutralize the toxic poison of this with beauty and perfumes and a place to simply be in peace......... So the officer was saying he will suggest this too and for me to put to John my MP & Shadow Chancellor......... eh Keith you going to be well missed....

London Spirit

Professional Home

Been at my old professional home today... St Thomas's Hospital and felt like putting my scrubs on and getting stuck in helping.... sort of felt like I was on my break eating in the garden - when we did have such things as a break .... usually too busy to have a break.... so so peaceful in the sun today..... and a good atmosphere ..... London does not break its spirit.....

Sat and had a hot chocolate in the garden to enjoy the sun and took one of my daughter's mother's day chocolate brownies to eat ... 

The fountain looked ethereal with all the light cascading with the water droplets.  Felt like the spirits of those lost this week were around if you know what I mean.  I very connected day with some peace too..
