Webinar share on hospital design

Good webinar with global attendance of practitioners to look at hospital design to be an healing place for both patients and staff to be .. staff need to feel in a space to be able to give care in holistic way to patients and support patients on their journey to wellness... we looked at how designs need to be adaptable and flexible to innovative care and care needs. Covid proved how important swift adaptation needs to be made to response to sudden volume of patients and prevent spread of infection. Staff need to be supported to prevent burnout.... note burnout, poor staffing levels, problems of recruitment and retention were a problems pre pandemic...pandemic intensifying need for a system that cares for staff ...so they then can care for patients.

Seems a bit calmer outside as gusts spacing out and me inside calmer as been on adrenaline alert unable to concentrate on knitting or reading ... had good breakfast so eaten OK .. but its times like this when social media gives link up to share in extreme weather and challenge..comfort .. The woodland opposite has been howling and creaking with the winds... we did have a large branch fall but council on the ball and cleared it.

Insomnia knitting

 Keep calm carry on knitting..! Had 2 hours sleep then woke up wide awake so knitting was best constructive use of time. 4am the busy scene but with an air of calm and peace.  Pengu my cat not so sure ..was looking befuddled as why I am awake and disturbing HER sleep..... hhhhh however her karma from her waking me up the night before with her trick of twanging the mattress with her claws under my bed hhhhh it works.. impossible to ignore twanging. And now cardigan I was knitting stitched up just need to get some fancy buttons from the wool shop in Uxbridge.  I am busy using up spare wool balls into baby cardigans ... some I can sell if anyone interested but most will be for families in need. So many cost of living problems around in UK & Globally. Wool needs to be put to good use keeping babies and children clothed and warm.

Garden waking up

 I have been uitwaaien in my garden and found my hellebore in bloom ..heavenlybore so jamila so beautiful ... but so shy she drops her head and doesn't hold it high .. I had to lift it to photograph as I was uitwaaien out for fresh air ....
