Art for Australia

SHARING THIS FACEBOOK POST FROM THE ARTIST.

"My illustration for the Australian bushfires. I can't seem to find any more words that haven't already been said, there's only sorrow and tragedy. I pray for Australia, the people, and wildlife...🙏🇦🇺
#saveaustralia

Edit:
Wow I'm so incredibly humbled by the overwhelming response to my illustration. As much as I really would like to, it is difficult to reply to everyone individually, so I'm taking this opportunity to say a big, big thank you, for the likes, shares but especially for the heartfelt and moving comments.

As there has been a little bit of momentum building with my post I thought I would try to help if I can in my little way by providing links to some worthy organisations/volunteer services providing aid and relief to the fire affected communities. Any donation big or small can go a long way to help!

PS
There have been a few commenters asking whether they could share or use my illustration as their profile pic. I'm honored and give my full approval. It would be wonderful if at the same time a donation could be made and/or the links below be shared in order to reach as many people as possible.

PPS
It's been pointed out to me that the date on my illustration is wrong, I wrote 2019...apologies as 3 days into the New Year I was still not used to it being 2020!

Thoughts & Prayers & Hope we Learn to care....

Thankfully we are safe from the terrible fires in Australia. Thank you everyone for caring and asking how we are. ❤️

Sadly, much of our wildlife and bushland in Australia has been destroyed by the devastating fires. Our hearts are broken with the massive loss of our beautiful wildlife and the many people affected.

We’ve been asked by hundreds of you how you can help. Please take a look at the following organisations who are doing incredible work and donate if you can.

And also a big thank you to all of you who’ve donated to our Kangaroo Sanctuary ❤️ It has greatly assisted with caring for our rescued orphans during the severe drought we are experiencing.
