Gutsy women

Bought my Christmas read at Waterstones Uxbridge... looking forward to reading and reviewing this book by Hilary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea.... I like the idea of mother and daughter teaming up to acknowledge & write about
Gutsy Women throughout history. I was intrigued about this book from their interview on Graham Norton's Show a few weeks ago... Good that I am earning points with Waterstones for more book purchases too! This helps with my Family Link Up to get educational materials. The staff at our Uxbridge branch are so kind and so interested in all I do. Maybe I should write a book now I am retired..umm I should a goal for the New Year and New Decade.... Was good today as I was interviewed by Rags Martell from ITV news in Uxbridge and he was saying I should have a radio show as I have a lot of experience and up to speed on the political world. Of course I am with all my campaigning activist work and time in APPG meetings (when we have a Parliament!) .. all has been prorogued with the tantrum election of our acting PM.... :-(  Yes, as a 1950s born women owed pension money and that I am my mother's daughter, I am a gutsy woman and will always turn my pain into campaign and to help fight the corner of those suffering injustice... 

Cat welcome

Lulu was fussing over me last night on my arrival home. She was purring and paw massaging me as I rested on the sofa catching up on the political madness in the country on TV...  My lovely Kitty the little Indian girl friend had been feeding the cats while I was away....which was kind but clearly Lulu missed her usual food mama! hhhh and so did Pengu as in this selfie if I could have stretched my arm you would see her curled up aside me too... 

Word search travel companion

Yesterday there was a problem on the rail track between Oostende and Bruge the trains cancelled. So they laid on a bus replacement to Bruge so that passengers could re connect with the trains to Brussels from there.  It is the first time I have been on a double decker train.. and in the fate of this situation got to sit next to a French speaking Belgian elderly lady who loves doing word searches..I enjoy this too and could not help finding the words with her.. a moment glance and I was spotting words... this got us laughing and talking in French and Anglais. Lovely travel companion.  She left me to finish the puzzle to read an intriguing book called Au Coeur des forets..

The knitted hats for Age UK fundraising made wonderful egg cosies and I took some to Belgium for the girls to enjoy and to encourage to eat more eggs. Family Link Up 

Magic Pad or not ..review

💗💜💗🤔Looks good on TV ad and is but make sure dad ready with fine optical screw driver to get batteries in... yes batteries NOT included so need AAA.... don't lose magic wipe cloth ...be mindful pens are pens can be used on paper and walls, hands, arms, clothing and bed sheets by younger sisters and brothers ..lol 😊📈 But the stencils are brilliant for learning dexterity at keeping to lines and shapes...and can practice letters numbers and times tables... love the unicorn Leen did extra magical went lit up...
