Razen our Yorkshire Syrian Business woman

As a Yorkshire lass that is now helping Syrian Refugees with my Family Link Up project - I am & my Syrian family scattered between Turkey and Europe are well impressed and truly proud of Razen. Razen was settled in Yorkshire and as set up a Cheese making business with our Yorkshire dairy farmers....

This success story shows what amazing people we have among our refugee communities. So wonderful that they can throw down roots in the hosts communities and rebuild their lives, with this be a major asset to the local traders and businesses.  It is wonderful that Princess Anne has seen her worth too. I hope one day I can meet Razen I have spoken to her over the phone and she is such a lovely lady.

“We came to the UK after the war in Syria in 2012. With my husband and three young children, we had lost almost everything and had to settle into a new life in Yorkshire. Initially I began searching for a job but despite having a pharmacy degree and a scientific background my lack of references and work history in the UK made it extremely difficult.
