Good webinar with global attendance of practitioners to look at hospital design to be an healing place for both patients and staff to be .. staff need to feel in a space to be able to give care in holistic way to patients and support patients on their journey to wellness... we looked at how designs need to be adaptable and flexible to innovative care and care needs. Covid proved how important swift adaptation needs to be made to response to sudden volume of patients and prevent spread of infection. Staff need to be supported to prevent burnout.... note burnout, poor staffing levels, problems of recruitment and retention were a problems pre pandemic...pandemic intensifying need for a system that cares for staff ...so they then can care for patients.
