17th October remembering my mum's birthday..no matter how old we get we never forget our mothers.. Today was the day in dedication to her as a very spiritual caring, compassionate lady I took my blanket made to Harlington Hospice the staff so kind loved the fact my wool used was from the odds and ends from knitting for my refugees..Family Link Up I had time in the hospice garden with the autumnal sunshine.. On my way home spotted in our local Age UK shop a china tea cup, saucer and plate with a Lancashire red rose decoration... me mum was a Lancashire lass though I was born in Yorkshire due to dads Charge nurse post in Skipton.. me mum loved collecting China cups saucers and plates. . They would always come out with a pot of tea and homemade scones when our local vicar called round. They would have friendly theological discussions.. her wisdom appreciated by Rev Martineau.. ..Thank you mum and grandma to my daughters and great grandma to my grandchildren ..always around 8n spirit.. and no doubt having time with our Queen in spirit world .. ๐๐น
