🌺Last of my lovely table flowers from the Survivors Lunch... been an amazing day today... Freezing cold out ... and had to go to the hospital for blood tests... and normally easy - the U7 bus direct there... but me and another old lady waiting ....no bus.... then an engineer comes to tell us no buses getting through as a massive water pipe fracture with frost .... and road dug up.... so we had to trudge a number of streets away for another bus route... but lovely to get chatting together ... she was all in favour of coming to our Parliament debate to join the Granny Revolution.... We have become good friends.. so after an Artic expedition to the hospital only usually 10 mins away I arrived for me bloods.... lovely phlebotomist.... Timing had to be as saw one of the wives of our cancer patients from the Community Cancer Centre she told me Ed was in and taken a turn for the worse....... so I popped along to the ward to see him.... awhhhh bless he was with it enough to recognise me and his eyes lit up and said Marjorie....! so we had a good chin wag and a laugh... some nursing cares .. and time with the doctor... was lovely felt Sister Marjorie ..but I can tell I could not do 12 hour shifts up and down them corridors like I used too....quite tearful as I write this ... at least had time to hold his hand and have some good time... which is what nursing is about .. if the sodding system would let staff get on and do... He says he will die a happy man now after our chinwag and laugh... we saw a beautiful sunset out of the 8th floor window over Heathrow.......God bless him for all he has done.... despite his journey with cancer he would come to the centre to the MOT group Men be Open and Talk group to help others on their journey...... A very beautiful Allah day today..... Love Day ..... all we have to do is tune into the Divine Love that created all this universe......... Peace Salem Shalom Om Shanti....
