🎄Christmas Review

Christmas has had some sparkle even though we had a family loss. My Son-in-law mother passed away just before Christmas day with advanced cancer. We had tears and distress as despite no history of covid ..there were restrictions for family. Lynne had made the family promise not to stop living after her parting.
So we had Christmas has a day of sparkle ...and felt her spirit around .

I had an amazing experience on Christmas Eve as one of my Syrian refugees shared with me his friend returning to Turkey after 7 years away in Europe. They had been friends since school and war and fleeing for safety had separated them. It was a very emotional happy time seeing them embrace and share time together. My project Family Link Up enriches my life with all the sharing & caring.

Then my mentoring project with Mo'men my Graduate Nurse from Gaza  was a blessed time when he gave a lecture at a Cancer Conference. Dr Philippa Whitford also was lecturing from Scotland so we put a Crossing Barriers photo story together. I sent this to Dr Philippa in Scotland...as she is SNP MP the parcel went on a security check turn around.  I hope it arrived in one piece..I sent one of Bushra's cards to as this was truly a Global Link Up.
