Community OAP Summer Tea Party

 💃🕺🍰Cor blimey that was some pensioners tea party.... we had a theme of Hawaii and Calypso ... with a cabaret act called Buspass to Broadway... hhhhhh one of the male dancers just finished his first dance at the end lol and there was one called Gyrating Geoff More than tea served too jugs of Pimms were going round ... all on keeping Phyllis from dancing on the table with her Zimmer frame hhhhhh OMG is this my next era in life... still was fun - amazing what you can do with a new hip replacement hhhhh

 

 93yrs old and 64 yrs old hands together..... my lovely 93yrs old lady had been an upholster and seamstress when working but is partially sighted now she cannot sew or read a book... bless her a big part of herself lost to old age and body systems growing weary..... but she still enjoys her life listening to audio books and her great grand children coming to visit her.... She has seen a lot over her life-time too.... I looked around the room today and thought we cannot have a government that does not respect, care for and value our elderly population.... we owe a lot to their lives their strength and tenacity through some rough times in the UK.... and not fair to bring us to another rough time with politically induced austerity, cutbacks and some of us denied our state pension till 66yrs....!!
