Had a Girlie day today at Gudrun's

Despite the heatwave made it my mission today to go to Gudrun Sjoden's shop in between Traflagar square and Covent Garden- was absolutely worth it not only got 3 bargain tunic tops, a nice mug and hand towel... but customers were treated to cool drinks and cucumber sandwiches AND some lovely relaxing music too.  I love the shop as you can feel the love and passion for the designs from Gudrun. You feel part of a family.  The designs suit all ages and shapes and sizes.. In fact they help me come to terms with my figure as they are so comfortable and fun to wear. I am happy as I have now a boost to my wardrobe as I have some important meetings to come and need to look confidently good with vibrant style. Plus I have a on going goal to bring in fresh decor to the bungalow.



Love the design workshops in store too. 




Thank you Gudrun for the colour, style and love you bring to your customers. Cheers with a cup of tea to you... as a Yorkshire lass that loves the Scandinavian art to home and clothes. By that cup of tea tasted extra special. 

More fun with the parrots

I am like a big kid with the parrots now I know where they hang out in Hyde Park - just love it when they land on me to eat - though at one point had pigeons on my head lol ... Yesterday evening had stroll through the park on the way to the Iranian embassy to have the evening song with the Earth Angels tht are supporting Richard. Wallah the parrots came to the trees outside the embassy too..... We all noticed as if they came to support FREEDOM of Nazanin. Nice to share this photo with Richard to show Gabriella... and where they can go to enjoy family time together.  
The parrots have raised interest with my Syrian refugees too as they have enjoyed the photos.. Dante is thinking of getting some for the kids but neither of us like the idea of birds caged up! Better to have them free to enjoy life as indeed innocent wives and mothers should be able to too!  
Making me think of when I lived opposite Airedale General Hospital there was a mansion nearby and the owner loved birds he had large aviary but even then would let his parrots out to fly free in the late afternoon... they would have selected trees they loved to perch on and always went back to the one that loved them. LOVE and CARE powerful energy. 

Evening of Song with Richard

Been amazing time to supporting Richard on his hunger strike outside the Iranian Embassy... and yesterday evening we had a time of fellowship singing together, continuing to make our voices heard with Richard to #FreeNazanin 

 
This morning they both stopped their hunger strike which was wise as there is a heatwave hitting UK Europe and Iran. But the campaign goes on till the Iranians free an innocent mother. Mothers are blessed and should be respected it would help to earn some respect too of Iran if they showed Mercy & Compassion - the foundation of our religion and all world religions. As Muslims we also value Jesus Isa and he was the embodiment of love and healing with support for those in pain.  We recognise the pain in Richard at being separated from his wife and beautiful daughter.  There are no grounds for an innocent woman, wife and mother to be imprisoned.. It has been good that many of our UK MPs have visited Richard outside the embassy including the leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn and the Speaker of the House John Bercow.. Time for Cake

Always time for tea and cake in the Jubilee cafe when I am in Parliament .... nice to see the staff again after long break of attending meetings and lobbying...

Lovely that some of staff take interest in Family Link Up and enjoy hearing about all the updates. I must get some of the Time for Cake plates for my family and Boshra umm maybe some mugs too...as they are rather stylish.. The Kids will enjoy the clock and telling time...ohhhhh must teach them about Roman Numerals next time we are together. 

Parrots in Hyde Park

 

💞🌿So glad I decided to walk up through Hyde Park to Paddington after Parliament and a visit to see Richard outside the Iranian embassy.... found these Parrots happily being fed by tourists gorging on fruit and nuts...... with the squirrels and pigeons trying to get a look in too... lol

Birds free to be ... message in that... and sure would be nice to see Richard Nazanin & Gabriella as a complete family again able to go for walks in the park and feed the parrots in fun no more pain of separation....

Parliament today

I managed to get to Parliament today to lobby my MP John McDonnell to update on a number of domestic and international issues. In the list of things to talk about was my concern for Richard now in his 11th day of hunger strike outside the Iranian Embassy. John was unavailable so I will follow through with a letter to drop into his local office and hope we can see one another on Friday after my Dental appointment in Hayes.   

It really is getting beyond unacceptable that Iran will not release an innocent woman from prison. It feels now the UN and the International courts need to help out with this situation. You know I have studied world religions and have had a pull to Islam with enlightening time at the King George VI mosque in Regents park. Yes the Queen's father gave the land for this mosque and laid the foundation stone for it to be an educational centre for all to come and learn about Islam. There is a lovely atmosphere where all religions come and share time together. It reminds me of my time in India in Sai Baba's Ashram where all world religions came together to care and share together.  The common message to all is to be egoless, selfless merge with Gods love - Allah is Arabic for God. The message is to be compassionate have mercy and love and respect one another and all creation.  So I find it disappointing that Iranian brothers will not see the pain that they are putting this family through and respond with that mercy &  compassion. They could easily enter their hearts and see that this is not right what is happening this family. They should be together to enjoy life together.  Family is so important to us all no matter our colour and creed. it only takes a moment to think what would they feel like if their beloved wife was taken from them.  In Islam we learn the 99 names of Allah which when you examine them are the characteristics of the Universal Energy that created All and holds us all together. There is a key message that Allah is all seeing of our deeds and is compassionate. Allah is just and caring is the light of love. So I find it sad when Islamic principles are not put in action because of some delusional power ego that sadly we find in many leaders around the world... It is sad that there is no spiritual maturity to see that it is ego that creates darkness in the world not Allah, the Divine Creator. So I appeal to those brothers to open their hearts to free flow of Allahs love and have compassion to release this wife and mother, Nazanin to be with her family again.  Salem Shalom Peace Om Shanti time for man to be truly Homo Sapien Wise Men and mature in Gods Love and Peace. Time for us to be a Global Family and care for one another not hurt one another.

I got a light catcher for the big bay window in the apartment in Belgium for the girls. Family Link Up  Leen when I was there the other week was fascinated that the sequins on her shorts where making rainbows on the wall as the sun shone on them... So got this crystal for them to have fun seeing more rainbows around the room as the light get refracted... Fun out of science..and we got one for Debbie my daughter for her new home with its bay window that gets a lot of sunlight in. 

Time with Richard to give support

We need to help as a Global Family to get Richard his wife back and his daughter so they can be a family again and get their lives back!

URGENT HELP AS HUNGER STRIKE FOR ACTION! 
Was with Richard yesterday outside the Iranian Embassy. What a kind loving man he is. It is heartbreaking that he cannot get his wife freed from jail in Iran... she has done nothing wrong... you can feel they are a loving couple with a beautiful daughter just wishing to be together and get their lives back. Our government and politicians are impotent too busy arguing among themselves to be effective in any attempts to negotiate release of Nazanin. We has a Global Family and united Global Citizens must try to help all we can in prayers and support and active campaigning..letters, tweets to UN to see if they can step in to fight for the right to their family life together.
