Remember the Empty seat a the hustings for Boris Johnson
Well saw him on his "staged" visit to Uxbridge on Wednesday late afternoon lol for the minders to place him next to the Uxbridge station for a ready made crowd of returning commuters from London!! I had been to my weekly women survivors group and was hungry and tired with all the stress of drop in support. You know I am not lazy or a "something for nothing" cameron labelled claimant of my tax money returned to me in DWP benefits - I am trying my best to be proactive and rebuild and regain financial dignity... and in this help others too as I can....
So when I saw Boris in Uxbridge opposite Tescos ran across to shout to him saying its Marjorie you remember me you said you were to help me when you were Mayor of London at the O2 debate. he held my hand and said yes yes well I am being threatened with eviction from my OAP sheltered bungalow cannot get my State Pension and DWP dropped support... ohhhh he says you must get the council to help you... I said Boris it is YOUR TORY council that is evicting me!! he was wide eyed and shocked. Told him is this the kind of society you want a 63yrs old women with pin & plate in my arm from brutal attack on me to be put on the streets from an OAP bungalow....? I told him A Society without Compassion ceases to be a Society.. he went quiet and the minders whizzed him off.... Three times I have met him and spoken with him and can get through to the heart of the man but it is so wrapped up in "celeb staged management politics" he gets lost and is distant from the realities on the front-line. I was able to tell him it is not a safe seat Boris it was only as safe seat because Sir John Randall before was an hardworking local man with passion for the local community and would stand shoulder to shoulder with John McDonnell on issues in the borough that were causing problems to be solved together.
We have a good labour candidate who is a hardworking local and passionate about the local issues - Vincent Lo so lets hope we can get him in the seat.
I went to the Hayes Labour Party office after to tell them what had happened and that I was hungry and cats needing food too ... I came away with a tray of food that is the difference... Labour will stop listen and care enough to act to the needs presented. Tory minder managers whisked their candidates off not to see the realities of their bad management!!
If only all would come together and sort the right mess we have.....rising poverty from ill managed policies cannot be acceptable. Hunger foodbanks and homelessness all signs of failed leadership ... not the peoples failure but failed leadership... The people are coming together though to gain financial dignity for the many not the few...with a leader that is for the many not the elite few. Vote for Jeremy Corbyn...
