Labour day

Been a really busy and happy day today. Good feel to the community all through the day.  We had a laugh at my voting time a few of us older ladies arriving in worn down cheap shoes.. you know the £14.99 ones and the others in £6.99 Primark sandals... We were all harping on about Mrs May in designer shoes while us struggling to cope with little or no state pension...  So was the shoe vote for fairness.... John McDonnell laughed at this when I told him... woman thing we just cannot have this unfairness and between the haves and the have nots... when the haves policies makes more and more of us falling into the have nots with growing poverty figures.  Foodbanks and poverty are clear signs of failed leadership.  All decisions should be made for the benefit of all.  One of our passionate voters is with me in my selfie photo.... she was amazing for rallying others around.... We actually had quite a few voters saying we recognise this government made a right mess of the county and we would like to help out to sort it out.  So if we get the power we will have to have an Operation Clean Up with the people rallying round to help.... People power.

8th June is World Oceans day so who will swim and who will sink.  But there has certainly been a lot of sharks around bullying Jeremy and John..... and on the doorstep that did not work to intimidate the voters.....as reinforced supporters to get out and vote Tories out... We wait the night results to see.
Been a great team throughout the campaign and Helen has been amazing with her logistics... We had loads of young supporters who were helpful both in office and out on the streets door knocking and building momentum.
Uncle put on his red turban for his support of Labour and was keen to get a photo with giggles all around too... Looking good...
