🌺Brilliant opening night last night for the Hillingdon Literary Festival at the Brunel University ... lool we had an amazing panel discussion on Brexit Bullshit and defining what bullshit is and how truth can be ignored, misconstrued..... and was extra dynamic given that the local council is Tory and we had some councillors in the audience and the local Mayor...... it was a wonderful evening I cannot believe how many wonderful powerpoints you can put together on bullshit.... we had input from international law and human rights and some very good question and discussions from the audience. My input was on the APPG poverty and that despite stats and researched reports on the truth of our poverty in the UK government forge ahead and continue with the expensive austerity programme. Expensive yes as the spin off problems cost more.....than if money had been invested in the people...
