London Air Ambulance Sahara Sky

My dear blog readers just finding time today to catch up on what has been a whirlwind week so far for me. Monday of course was spooky for us all here in London and west of the nation with the dust clouds from Storm Ophelia.  The colour of the sky turned greyish orange and the glimpses of the sun we got was at one point blood red.  The air was warm and had a strange spooky feeling around that brought people out to see what the heck was happening.  We found out it was the Sahara desert sand that had been blown our way and the smoke from the dreadful and upsetting forest fires in Portugal......

This is a dramatic photo from our London Air Ambulance helipad that captures the colour and spooky mood of the city.
You can read more of the London Air Ambulance work, read stories from their patients but also see how much the equipment costs and ways to donate to help. Help our London Air Ambulance Angels save lives...
