Diwali Dance Drama in Parliament

I had a busy day yesterday in Parliament with meetings and lobbying so was a delight to see the Indian community coming in for an evening celebration of Diwali... the Hindu Festival of Light. Made me nostalgic for my time of living in India and my journey studying world religions in Ashrams....  Love the colours and the posture of this dancer.... and she was not alone... but with two other dancers... the dancer on the right of the picture is in fact French but has been studying Indian dance.... they all look so pretty and was a real uplifting delight to see them.  I love our multi-cultural society and the way all have a place and a say and share in our parliament..... it is afterall a peoples parliament.
