Yea finished it for Princess Leen Family Link Up This was the first garment I have crocheted - usually done blankets and shawls. But this was an easy pattern of dc rows..it has made it like a fabric weave really. The trim I just kept in one colour pink... Now feeling lost with no yarn to knit or crochet... got the bug for making things.... it all started with that button stall at the canal fair on May bank holiday weekend. I used to always be knitting when my kids were little.. and knitting a couple of sizes ahead of growth. Plus adult knitwear. I think I will have now have a go at knitting a stylish cardigan for Boshra and maybe a waistcoat for Dante... will have to get some funds together for this. The knitting shops like you to buy all together. But in Otley where I lived as new married young woman in the 1970s we had a wool shop that was good at putting the wool away and you could buy as you knit up the garment. So you always knew you had enough of the dye lot. That brings back happy memories of Friday Market day shopping with the pram and the kids. Wow and now this week my eldest granddaughter is 21 yrs wowee where does time go... so important to make the time rich with good experiences.
