Memories of home when felt home

Some of my photos of my cats in the sheltered bungalow I am now threatening with eviction from by the London Borough of Hillingdon.

And today when I got back to the bungalow found that the London Borough of Hillingdon sunk to a new low with my case..... received a notice for court to pay council tax in the place where I was brutally beaten up by Amine...... who by the way is getting away free from all this aftermath he has left me in.... Amine is Shameful....... The council is shameful... you know folks it makes you feel every kick every punch over and over again...... the system is relentless punishing me and yet I am the victim not the perpetrator ... and it shows this Tory government in full light ....they do not put residents first they put £££££££££££££ first and do not frame a duty of care round the vulnerable in society.... all I need is financial dignity .... if anyone reading has any idea how I get haul myself out of all this system beating let me know......!!! I feel sick to the core.... but hang must not go to hospital as will be then accused as an old lady blocking a bed.....!!!!!!!!

I visited my local MP and his PA says there is nothing they can do... and that my proactive challenge to the situation may be making things worse.... BUT as a BSc RN RM (be it retired ...but denied my right to the State Pension I have paid into all my years....) I have a duty of care to improve the pathway for women as I see and feel the craziness of the failings of the present system.  It was interesting on the bus got speaking with a couple of women and they were telling me of their domestic violence they had been subjected too.  They too had had a struggle to get the help they needed and kept having much needed benefits stopped and financial chaos... so we have exchanged emails and will be campaigning for change.  With enough of us nationwide challenging we surely should get some response for the better care of women - as women's lives are at risk....

I had a connected time with the local curate of the St Margarets church and shared my case - she wants me to keep in touch. She too feels as a community we cannot have a situation where a 63yrs old with DV history and in need of the space for post traumatic healing and is rebuilding her life with helping others is put on the streets with no value.   It was a special prayer time of Muslim and Christian together in the light and love of the Divine Creator of all....   Shukran Thank you.

When a society has no compassion then it ceases to be a society.
For compassion is the cohesive force to hold us together.
