Olive Oil Soaps

I love these soaps that I have found on my trips to Athens to see my Syrian family.  I found them in this lovely shop on the street where we go for ice creams with my little Princess.  We found it on the walk up Athinas street from Monastraki to Omonia  The soaps are made from olive oil and there are lavender and rose perfumed ones too... Your skin feels lovely after washing and you do not need to moisturize after.

Here is the link to the company Kalliston.

With my family link up project I am always keen to give local traders some promotion. I see host countries for the refugees struggling with their economies so it is good to respect the local traders and companies.   If we all work together we can help one another.
Here is my sweet Princess with the big dish of ice cream choices she picked from the carousel for us all to share in a big glass. The perfume shop is just to a short walk up from this ice cream parlour.  If you visit Athens I hope you can visit this place on your shopping spree.  I have visited Athens twice now to see the family in the camp there. I hope to get back in March if I can find some funds as her mama is expecting another baby and I would like to be with her as a retired midwife and carer/befriender of this amazing Syrian family. You can read more on my Family Link Up blog and see how to make donations to help.  I am trying to get grants to help me but the problem is that monies are not available for individual carer/befrienders such as me only organisations. So I am reliant on donations or for some sponsor to come along.  I can but at least help local traders with my blogposts and hope with good visitor traffic to my blog help get them some business and see my blogs as useful for advertising perhaps thus earning me funds for this project which is my life now.
