Been out with John and our volunteers canvassing in Hayes... Our amazing Helen got our system working a treat.... and wish we had had the TV cameras to see whathappened... as we had not only doors answered but folk coming out to give hugs of respect to John... John has been our MP for many years now and so many residents he has helped with problems that it like going out on a Consultant ward round checking up on our patients as it were. Was lovely to see one of my Indian Sai Baba devotee friends that I first met up north in Bradford in 1988 and has lived in Hayes for over 20yrs since she married. John and me had a good chinwag on the doorstep with her. He thanked her for looking after me in times of need too as she has. You see John is part of our community. We have our non supporters too and we have them that have wanted immigrants out for years and will never vote labour, can be quite forceful with their views..., we know who they are .....we respect their views and move on .....But we also have some that are really confused with all this Brexit melarky referendum so it is making this murky water for some to decide upon.... One woman I talked to were getting all muddled with the TV coverage on policies... so she was glad of Johns letter to summarize what he will do for our community and get her mind clear. Good evening overall and looking forward to more campaigning.
